Well, I noticed that I rarely write anything in this thing anymore, and I blame it on my Flickr account. I use this blog mainly for me to remember things, and since I have so many pictures of things now, I have nothing that I need to write...
I've been overwhelmed lately... A September end date on my current job has required me to actively seek my next gig... Stressful, especially since I really really enjoy what I do. There is one company in particular that I am waiting, rather patiently, to hear back from that I think I'd absolutely love to work for...
Next week Christine and I are flying South. She'll get to meet the Folts Family! I'm uberly excited, and just hope that she doesn't get scared off... ha ha... especially since we have decided to live together next year. (big step I know, but she's practically been living at my house for months).
The whole trip involves us flying to Atlanta, driving to Homer, LA... then, driving to NC, then back to Atlanta, then flying home... 2000+ miles in one week, and Christine only has a permit... (which might be expired)
Regardless of lots of driving, I really am looking forward to the entire fiasco. Look for pictures mid August.
