On-The-Road
Sitting here in my cube for the last time! Heading out tomorrow morning to get back to Tallahassee... I am extremely excited to get back... Amanda and I are going to revamp the kitchen and bathroom with fresh paint, new appliances, and a lot of hard work... It's going to be fun!
Despite my excitement at getting back, I am dreading the fact that school is starting soon after. The one class I was excited about was canceled, and now I am stuck taking Network Security and Internet Technology... They both sound fun, I know, but they are with my two least favorite teachers... My first B in 5 semesters was given to me by Dr. Aggarwal last semester; and now I am stuck taking another one of his classes... I put hours and hours into his last class, but all my effort got me a pathetic B... He is going to be really sick of me coming to his office everyday trying to figure out what it is he is looking for... Every one of his tests was a different format, and all of them tested on the most random and pointless, having nothing to do with any of the homework, and little-to-nothing to do with what he talked about in class...
The other professor I'll be "learning" from is Dr. van Engelen... He was the professor for one of the most boring classes I have ever taken, Programming Languages... I don't know if it was his teaching method, or if it was just the subject... I am hoping it was the subject because I am really looking forward to Internet Technology... Now, I can't say that either professor is not knowledgeable, in fact, I would say they are extremely smart, but that doesn't mean that they are good at teaching... Hopefully this time around I'll have a better experience with both of them... Either way, I am up to the challenge...
