I got a dog on Saturday! I got it from the local shelter… it is a German Shepherd mix (they think it is mixed with a black lab, but it looks more like a German Shepherd but without the extremely pointy ears) He has to be neutered before I can bring him home, so I won’t get him until Tuesday. I am really excited… now my family has 4 dogs so Christmas and Thanksgiving are going to be hectic… His name at the shelter was Pirate, but he needs a manly name since he is being neutered, so that name is definitely out of the question. I went and bought him food, food dishes, toys, collar, leash, etc at Petsmart already… and I bought a collar for the invisible fence… I can’t wait till Tuesday…
UPDATE: I decided to name him Jäger!
